The purpose of a preliminary map is to expedite the processing of the tentative and
final maps and to acquaint the developer with county requirements and standards. Staff
will review the map and the subdivider shall meet with the subdivision review committee
to discuss the proposed subdivision design, dedication requirements, improvement requirements,
subdivision standards, applicable processing procedures, plans, policies and information
the County may require of the subdivider.
