§ 2.03.010. Meetings.

A.

Time and Place of Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the board of supervisors shall be held the first four Tuesdays of each calendar month at the hour of nine o'clock a.m. at the county seat, or at such other time or other location in the county as authorized by the adopted rules of the board of supervisors and applicable law. Regular meetings will not be held on a Tuesday immediately following an observed holiday, except as otherwise directed by the chairman of the board of supervisors.

B.

Adjournment of Meetings. Any meeting may be adjourned pursuant to the procedures set forth in Government Code Section 54955 or later enacted section.

C.

Cancellation of Meetings. If, during the agenda conference prior to a scheduled meeting, the chairman of the board of supervisors determines that there are no items required to be acted on at that meeting, the meeting may be cancelled. Notice of the cancellation shall be posted in the same manner as a regular meeting agenda.

D.

Simultaneous Meetings. During its regular meetings, the board of supervisors shall meet simultaneously as the board of supervisors, the board of directors of all dependent special districts governed by the board of supervisors, and the governing body of each and every other public entity for which the board of supervisors serves as the governing body, however that governing body or entity may be denominated. Actions taken by and in the name of the board of supervisors shall be deemed to be actions taken by and in the name of the governing body of any dependent special district or other public entity governed by the board of supervisors as convenience or necessity may require. Notwithstanding the above, meetings of the in home supportive services public authority may be held following any regular board meeting or separately denominated and held as part of any board meeting, as necessary.

E.

Special Meetings. Special meetings shall be held pursuant to the procedures set forth in Government Code Section 54956 or later enacted section for special meetings.

F.

Emergency Meetings. Emergency meetings shall be held pursuant to the procedures set forth in Government Code Section 54956.5 or later enacted section.
