§ 7.32.020. Closure when hazardous.

  • Whenever it is determined by the county health officer that the use of any lake, pond, pool, body of water impounded or stored behind a dam, dike or levee, body of water in a reservoir or any other body of standing water, whether natural or artificial, within the county is being used by boaters, swimmers or any other person or group in such a manner as to become hazardous to the health, safety or public welfare of any person or persons, the health officer may order any said area closed to motor boating, boating, swimming or any other form of water recreation.
