§ 9.40.010. Reward for violation information.

    Pursuant to the provisions of Section 374a of the Penal Code of the state, the board of supervisors hereby offers a reward of two hundred fifty dollars to any person or persons furnishing information leading to the arrest and conviction of another person for a violation of Section 374b of the Penal Code.

    B.

    This reward shall be paid from county funds upon order of the board of supervisors, whose determination shall be final as to the person or persons entitled to said reward.

    C.

    This reward may be offered and publicized by signs, notices and other advertising as the board of supervisors shall determine, provided that the board may delegate to any county officer or department authority to prepare such signs, notices and designations.
