§ 17.16.080. Action and report of subdivision committee.

  • The subdivision committee shall consider the preliminary map in its relationship to the general plan of the county, present and future development in the area and the improvement standards of the county as the same are prescribed by the planning commission the board of supervisors and this title. The committee shall, within thirty days after the close of its meeting, file with the planning department a written report on the preliminary map. A copy of said report shall be forwarded to the subdivider. The report shall state recommendations and set forth requirements for changes or desirable improvements in the map and shall refer the subdivider to such other public and private agencies for further consultation as may be desirable. The report shall indicate the advisability of dedication and reserving suitable areas for dedication of sites for public facilities as provided for by Division 2, Chapter 4, Articles 3 and 4, respectively, of the Government Code that will or may be required or recommended in the subdivision; indicate improvements, street pattern, lot arrangement and advise on any other items or special problems which may arise.
